New Hall Project
In Spring 2018 the St Aldhelm’s finance committee and pastoral council together consulted with the parish on areas for improvement and particularly on whether to build a new parish hall. 78% of respondents supported the build of new parish hall, replacing the club room and existing garages; 15% didn’t know or have an opinion and the remainder were against. The prime reason for the build is the need for direct and unrestricted support of parish activities, particularly in the provision of a regular catechetical and formation programme, an effective base for evangelisation throughout the catchment area, and a centre for our children and youth ministries.
AIM: Our aim is to facilitate the design and construction of a new hall with associated facilities which we and our successors can benefit from and be proud of for future generations.
